WINNIE's Story...
This is WINNIE. She is almost 9 weeks old (as of 10-4-16). Born Aug. 6, 2016. She is a chihuahua terrier mix from what we can tell. WINNIE has had her first set of shots and is puppy pad training until she can safely go outside.

This is the beginning of WINNIE's life. WINNIE's mom Willow, was rescued last minute, pregnant, from a high kill shelter by BFF along with her 2 siblings, Luna, also pregnant, and Hope. Luna gave birth the day before we could pick them all up. Sadly, from lack of prenatal care all of Luna's puppies passed. Sick and depressed herself we also, then, lost Luna. We were determined not to let that happen to Willow. She was taken in and cared for and she thrived. We excitedly welcomed 5 beautiful pups...Winnie and her 4 siblings Wendy, Wyatt, Weston and Whitley.

WINNIE is the rough and tumble, playful girl of the bunch. She will run and jump on anyone to play. This little girl has no fear when it comes to wrestle play time. She is so much fun to watch. When play time is over, WINNIE will happily be picked up and held. People-wise, she is the more mellow of her litter. She will give occasional gentle kisses, but is not nearly as kiss happy as her sisters. She is more the relaxed "thanks for the snuggles" kinda girl. WINNIE would do great with a doggy sibling or a family that would spend lots of time playing with her. If your family is the right family for WINNIE, put in an app and come meet this fun playful girl.

An application, home check, contract, spay deposit (if she is too young for spaying at the time of adoption) and adoption donation will be required. WINNIE’S adoption donation is $350.00.  Spay deposit is $150 (check that is kept uncashed until proof of spay).

To meet WINNIE, please go to our website, www.BFFK9Rescue.org, to the adopt page to learn more about our adoption process, policies and to download or complete an online application. Why Adoption is a Great Option

WINNIE, a Mission Viejo Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
