Welcome Vass. He is a 2 year old Plott Hound/Coonhound mix. He is a large dog at 80 pounds. He is active and fun with a good amount of energy. He was probably gotten as a cute puppy and then no one worked with him so he still jumps up but he is an absolutely sweet boy. He will do well with a person who is familiar with a very large breed dog. He would love a family that would be outdoorsy and fun and once he has his energy he will be ready to snuggle. He would be great for a runner, hiker or outdoor enthusiast. He is up on his shots, neutered, microchipped and ready for his forever home. He is currently in a rural Southern facility that is not no kill. We will be using professional transport to deliver him to his new home. Contact me for an application.

Act quickly to adopt Vass. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

About Lytle Animal Care & Control CO

About Our Shelter...

We are Lytle Animal Care & Control. We take in strays and rehabilitate if needed and vet them for adoption. We transfer some to rescues locally and the others we post and market for adoption. The City funds the staff of the shelter but not the medical fund. The medical fund for all our vetting is done through donations or adoption fees. Our adoption fee is 170 and transport is 165

Come Meet Our Pets...

Look at our pets and their videos online and talk to one of the friendly volunteers, foster moms or staff. We are here to help with videos and pictures. Once the dog/cat is preadopted we are ready to send your new pet to you on transport.

Our Adoption Process...

You will complete the application and once approved we will help you with all the details. You can speak to the foster mom or the shelter staff to see if the dog is what you are looking for and is what you have in mind. We can test the dog/cat with multiple settings to determine the fit for you. Thank you for looking at our pets.
