We strive to place each of our foster pets into the most appropriate home possible. Since we are a network of foster homes, we get to know each of the animals and know what home would work best for the pet.

Spider is a 17 year old  young white and black male. This sweet boy is in great shape, at last vet check the doctor would have guessed him to be 7 years old. His owners kept him and partner, Little Food, up-to-date on their vet checks and teeth cleaning. Bottle fed as feral kittens, they have grown into very nice, friendly cats, now just needing a safe, warm and loving home to spend their final years. A home with no other cats or dogs for them to have to get used to, just their people. Spidey's person became too ill to care for them any longer and with sadness they were surrendered to SPOT. He likes attention, but is a little shy at first. If you have that special, quiet home that you'd like to share with a senior cat or two....complete the Saving Pets One at a Time adoption application.

Adoption fee is $80...all cats are tested for FeLV/FIV, age appropriate vaccinations for FVRCP and FeLV, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites, microchipped including registration, post adoption exam at a local vet, collar and tag, and 7-day in home trial to make sure it's a good fit.

About Saving Pets One at a Time

About Our Rescue Group...

S.P.O.T. - Saving Pets One at a Time
The mission of our all-volunteer organization is to provide the Skagit Valley and the surrounding areas an alternative method of caring for and adopting out companion animals. We strive to provide an alternative adoption option without the fear of euthanizing healthy and adoptable pets.
Each pet receives daily one-on-one care and attention while in foster care. We work on training and socialization skills to help each pet be the best they can be. Pets do not leave foster care until we feel they are emotionally and physically ready to be placed into a permanent home.
