And now, a few words from me:

Let me introduce myself.  My name is Morty and I’m a super sweet guy.  I was very scared when I arrived at my foster home as I had never lived in a house and didn’t know what to think.  I quickly grew to understand that there are some very nice humans in this world and that living in a home and being loved and safe is a wonderful thing.  I have discovered that dog toys are fun and I love to run around the house with them in my mouth.  Sometimes I even sleep on top of them so that the other dogs in the house can’t get them. J  I love my foster home but I would love to have a forever family of my own.  I’m looking for a family that has a spare lap or two.  Cuddling is my favourite activity.

And now, a few words from my foster mom:

Morty is simply adorable!  When he arrived at our home he wouldn’t let us touch him and was afraid of everything.  It only took him a short time to realize that he was safe and loved.  He soon learned our routine and is doing very well with his housebreaking.  Morty is learning to walk on a leash but loves running freely at the dog park.  Morty currently lives with four other dogs and gets along with all of them and is also fine around children.  Morty loves to be with his humans.  He follows his foster mom all over the house and would do anything for a cuddle.  He loves to lie on a lap.  Morty needs to have a fenced yard and another well balanced dog in the house.  He also needs to have someone home part-time.   Morty will be timid when he first meets you but after a few days he will be your best friend.  He’s a keeper!

Our Adoption Process...

In order to adopt from us, you need to complete an adoption application. Follow this link

Once the application is completed, it will be reviewed for suitability, and if yes, we will book a telephone interview with you, and check the veterinary and personal references that you provided. If that goes well, a home visit will be booked, and if your home is safe, the adoption can proceed. You will be required to execute and adoption contract and pay a set adoption fee
