Sophie has scars that give us a glimpse of her past abuse by both animals and people, but those days are long gone. Sophie has quickly become the princess of the house and wants to be close to her people. Being an inside dog is new to Sophie, she has many puppy like behaviors and has a great need to chew, if you do not provide her with something to chew on, she will be resourceful and find something. Sophie is super smart and highly motivated by treats and affection: she has learned sit and shake, and she comes running for her "good girl" for going potty outside. She is house trained but doesn't know to verbalized her needs yet, but she always goes to the door. She responds well to verbal correcting and is easily redirected. Sophie has moderate to high energy levels, so she needs an area to run or evening walks. Sophie loves to snuggle, she's great in the car and is a real pleasure to walk.
