My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Maggie! Maggie is a sweet, loveable, housebroken Border Collie mix who is just over 40lbs. She is 1 year old so she may fill out some, but shouldn’t get much larger. Maggie currently resides with a plethora of pets and is doing much better in her new foster home!
Maggie is great at letting her humans know when she needs to go potty and she sleeps through the night in her crate with no issues at all. Her feline roommates are of no interest to her but the children in the home are her favorite buddies! She isn’t shy at all around the kids and just wants to play and be loved by them <3.
There are three other dogs living with Maggie right now and she gets along with all of them. If you’re looking for a good dog park dog, Maggie would be great since she doesn’t need structured introductions. She is quite confident and sometimes a little too uninhibited toward new dogs who need a little more time to warm up. It’s hard for her to contain herself because she just wants to constantly play! So far, she hasn’t seemed to be scared of anything at all and has proven to be a very laid back people-watcher. Observing wildlife from the deck is one of her favorite past times.
Runs and doggy play dates are Maggie’s preferred forms of exercise. Though she can be a rough player with other canines, she is very gentle when playing with children. She’s quite independent and is perfectly content being alone in a room. When her foster family leaves the house, she barks at first but id doesn’t last long. So far, Maggie has proven to be very intelligent and wise beyond her years. Straight out of the shelter she was fully house trained and knew a slew of commands. Considering she has been a stray most of her life, this is quite impressive!
If you’re looking for a pup with a complex personality, Maggie is perfect. Her beautiful coat gives her a unique look and she has such a loving charm that goes with it!
