From the Foster:
Sassy is one of the cutest, happiest dogs I have EVER seen. She has a zest for life that I wish I could capture and use myself. She loves pretty much everything, but here is a detailed list of some of her favorites. :)
Sassy adores snuggling. She might be a bouncy, happy dog, but she will gladly give up playtime for belly rubs and snuggles on the couch. She loves being outside, and going for walks. She pulls a lot with her exuberance, but we put her on a gentle leader harness, and she has gotten 100% better with this awesome tool! Sassy loves food, and she very patiently waits for it. She adores children, and has lived with them in the past. Sassy can be friends with some dogs, but it takes a while for her to get there. She is hard to introduce to new dogs, and typically her initial reaction is aggressiveness. She does best as the only dog due to these reasons. She has made dog friends before and might be able to in the right situations with slow introductions but she will never be a 'dog park' dog or one that can easily have dog playmates.
Sassy is potty trained, and does all of her business when she goes out. She does not chew things destructively in the house. She gets excited meeting new people, and DOES jump up right now, but we are working on that. We have her take a quiet time from the new people, and let her come back when she has calmed down, and she is doing great with that.
Sassy is a VERY smart girl, and with some basic training and praise to acknowledge her progress, she will be an EXCELLENT dog. She wants nothing more than to make you happy, and she deserves the chance to do that.
All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
