Maggie's Story...
Maggie is a friendly 6 yr old lemon/white beagle. She is a small beagle at 23 pounds and even needs to lose a little more of her girlie figure so she should be around 21 pounds. Maggie LOVES everyone and wags her tail non-stop when she is with you. She does get really excited when she sees you so she does do some jumping up. She will need a little training on that. She loves to snuggle on the couch and go for walks. She is fine left alone but does not like being in a crate. She is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, HW negative and micro-chipped. She is fine with other dogs and cats. Maggie would make a great family dog

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Williamsburg Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Williamsburg, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Williamsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williamsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williamsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williamsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
