AVAILABLE FOR A LOVING FAMILY!

Ginger came to SPOT fearful of most humans and scared of the world, but in just a few short weeks she is blossoming into a beautiful girl.  It appeared that she was only used to being an outdoor dog, possibly reprimanded harshly, and only felt comfortable with dogs.  Now she is sleeping well indoors, is potty trained and is seeking human connection and comfort.  While it will take her a bit to warm up to new people and situations, with patience she will melt your heart.  She loves, walking, running and hiking and would do best in a home where she will be exercised daily. Ginger would also do best in a calm home without young children.  While we have not seen any aggression, the high energy and unpredictability of kids would probably make her more nervous and timid.  She gets along with most dogs she meets and would love to have a doggie companion about her size that likes to play. If you can open your heart and home this this sweet gal, please contact SPOT.
Adoption fee-  $225 includes already spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. For an adoption application, visit http://spotsavespets.org/adoption-application-dogs/ or email SPOT at info@spotsavespets.org to meet Ginger!

About SPOT (Saving Pets One at a Time)

About Our Rescue Group...

SPOT was created to fill the need to save animals who “fall through the cracks” in our sheltering system. Local shelters are overwhelmed—they receive so many strays and owner turn-ins that they run out of space and have to kill thousands of animals each year. The majority of these animals are healthy and simply need to be placed into a home. Others are medical cases which require some work, but do not have life-threatening diseases or injuries. And a few have some moderate behavior issues; we work with specialists to correct these behaviors before finding them their forever home. The bottom line is SPOT can save these lives.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of the SPOT pets are in foster homes. To meet an animal, please email us. We can tell you when the next adoption event at a local pet store will be held, or we can set up a time to meet with you.

Our Adoption Process...

SPOT adopts puppies less than 1 year- $325, dogs 1-5 yr- $225, 6 yr- $150. Our kittens are $125 and teenagers and adults are much less. We often have low pricing during kitten season.
We ask you to complete an adoption application. A home check will be scheduled to be sure there are no inadvertent dangers in your home or yard. A meet and greet will be arranged so that your whole family can meet your new pet before adopting him/her. We want to make sure it is a good fit since it is a commitment for the animal’s lifetime.
