found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Let me introduce you to Fraulein Fredricka, aka “Freckles,” a 7 month old, direct descendant of the rare, Gerhaussier breed. For those of you unfamiliar, that is our Designer Name for a German Shepherd/Aussie/Heeler Heinz 57 mix. Her short hair is super soft, and her coloring is unique. Her ankles and chin are lightly ticked. She is a medium size girly girl, weighing in at 37 lbs. We don’t anticipate her to get any taller, but she will grow into her curves soon. Freckles is current on all shots. She is heartworm negative and spayed.
Personality is stellar, this is one sweet little girl. Inquisitive big brown eyes that could make even the coldest of hearts melt. Freckles is the ultimate snuggler, so be warned. The lucky family who gets to take her home better be prepared to share their spot on the couch, or at least a blanket. She is as comfortable chillaxing in a cool breeze under a shade tree, as she is riding shotgun in the seat beside you. She is mesmerized by the radio. She is very animated and plays well with other dogs of all sizes. She is tolerant of cats and indifferent of chickens; livestock is unknown. She had never been around any, nor has she expressed an interest to go horseback riding or cow-tipping. Freckles absolutely loves children. She is a very quick learner, is leash trained and responds well.
Freckles would be best suited for an active family with a large fenced yard. The Aussie/Heeler blood coursing through her veins will require exercise. Dogs of these breeds need activity. So if you are looking for a guard hound to put out in the back yard unattended, or confined to a kennel, or chained to a tree—then keep on looking. This is not the dog for you. These breeds are highly social, industrious and emotional. They need stimulation and interaction, and in turn, you will have the best, most rewarding relationships a family could ask for.
If you would like to meet Freckles, please contact the Giles County Humane Association at 931-363-5455. Or you can email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Open up your heart and home for a little furry love for the holidays!
