LAZY!'s Info...

I am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

LAZY!'s Story...
Five year old Lazy was rescued during the flood where she was found sitting on the roof of a dog house where she had swam to safety. It was discovered that Lazy lived her entire life mostly kenneled outdoors. Fortunately she was surrendered into Rescutopia's adoption program where she is being fostered in a great home and finally experiencing and enjoying the loving and active lifestyle every dog deserves!

Lazy is the sweetest pup you'll ever meet! She loves to meet new people and loves to be petted! She will hog couch space as well as your bed covers, so watch out! She is a super snuggler and is a quiet girl. She isn't into playing with toys much, but LOVES her walks. Gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids!

Blood tested, vaccinated, spayed, flea treated, and microchipped! Her blood test did indicate that she was heart worm positive which is minor; she is being treated for that and it should be cleared up in time to go to her forever home.

If you are interested in meeting Lazy and possibly giving her the forever home she so deserves, please contact Rescutopia!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LAZY!, a Baton Rouge Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
