Geppetto's Story...
This precious ball of fluff has had quite the journey with us! Now, Geppetto is all ready for a forever home! This orange tabby boy was born premature in mid-May and the only kitten in his litter to survive. He has crossed all the major milestones of kitten development, but we anticipate Geppetto will stay rather petite. What Geppetto lacks in size though, he makes up for in personality! He's almost always purring and loves to play with toys!

Geppetto spent a considerable amount of time in foster care. While he adjusts quickly to new people and places, he is very nervous of new animals. Geppetto's ideal home would give him plenty of time to adapt.

Geppetto has been neutered, received four sets of kitten vaccinations and is litter-box trained. He's also FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped with an $80 adoption fee. We would love to see Geppetto find the perfect family. If he sounds like a good match for you, stop by and meet him today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Geppetto, a Germantown Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
