Sugar's Story...
Sugar
9 months old
Just as sweet as she sounds! Sugar was signed over to our shelter when her previous owners could no longer care for her. Her previous owners did let us know that she is mostly housebroken, does well with children, likes other dogs and is ok with cats. Sugar is a wiggly and active pup with a lot of love to give. She has that sweet and fun loving personality that makes it easy for her to fit into any kind of forever family and she can’t wait to get there.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Fruit Heights Pit Bull Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
