WYATT's Story...
This is WYATT. He is almost 9 weeks old (as of 10-4-16) and was born on August 6, 2016. He is a chihuahua terrier mix from what we can tell. He is the biggest of his litter and weighs in just under 5 lbs right now (Oct. 4th) WYATT has had his first round of shots and is puppy pad training right now until his shots are finished.

This is how WYATT's story began. WYATT's mom, Willow, was rescued, pregnant, by BFF along with her 2 siblings, Luna, also pregnant, and Hope. Luna gave birth the day before we could pick them all up. Sadly, from lack of prenatal care all of Luna's puppies passed. Sick and depressed herself, we also then lost Luna. We were determined not to let that happen to Willow. She was taken in and cared for and she thrived. We excitedly welcomed 5 beautiful pups...Wyatt and his 4 siblings Weston, Winnie, Wendy and Whitley.  WYATT is definitely the leader of the group. His larger size matches his larger than life personality. This pup LOVES to play. He runs and rolls around the house, mostly with his sister Winnie, playing and getting into things. WYATT is a sweet boy who gives great kisses, but then jumps down to play. He is a great energetic pup. He's still learning the rules, but is doing great. If this little ball of energy seems like a great fit for your family, come meet him. His adorable face and fun personality are sure to impress.

We require an application, home check, contract, neuter deposit (if too young for neuter at time of adoption) and adoption donation. WYATT 's adoption donation is $350.00. There will be a $150 neuter deposit (check that is kept uncashed until proof of neuter at 6 months).

To meet WYATT, please go to our website, www.BFFK9Rescue.org to the adopt page to learn more about our adoption process, policies and to download or complete an online application. Please complete online application (make sure you answer all questions and get sent confirmation on screen) or email to adopt@BffK9Rescue.org.

We make every effort to contact you ASAP. Emails will get quickest response.

Applications are not first come, they are based on best fit for the household and our BFF pup

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WYATT, a Mission Viejo Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
