Facts about Glenda

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 1419
  • Hair: Medium

Found with another juvenile female in a group of homeless cats on an unoccupied business campus, Glenda was trapped and taken into foster care.

A pretty charcoal gray, medium-haired kitty, who will sit on your lap to be petted, Glenda loves relaxing in the hammock when she is in her cage, and likes to bat her toys around. A good eater, who enjoys the company of other cats, Glenda takes a little time to warm to new people and changing situations. She thinks over new experiences, before deciding to commit herself. Trapped and paired for a time with Whitney, a white kitten who was found with Glenda...could be sisters, cousins, or no relation...Glenda can be adopted as a single kitty.

Spayed, tested, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, and treated for flea and worms.

About Community Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Community Cat Rescue was formed to improve the lives of homeless cats through adoption, promotion of spaying/neutering, TNR and colony management and educational outreach to the public. We are a group of experienced rescue and TNR volunteers who have developed a network of foster homes for rescued street cats, and a regular program of outreach for adoption and education at local farmers markets, public events and at pet stores and shopping areas. We host a minimum of 3 outreach events per month, and often as many as 6 events. In addition to adopting out cats as family pets, we also have an active TNR program, including relocation of feral cats as "working cats" to appropriate homes if they are not safe in their original territory.

Our Adoption Process...

Potential Adopters fill out an adoption profile and application to help ensure that the cat or kittens they are applying for is/are a good match for their household. This is followed by an interview (phone or in person). All of our cats are in foster homes, so we know their personalities very well and can help you make a great match for everyone in your home.

If there are other pets in the household we provide assistance in introducing the new cat(s). We have lots of experience with multiple cat households, and we will work with you to make sure that everyone gets along and is happy. Cats or kittens can be returned to us within two weeks if they do not fit into your family or household.

Our contract specifically prohibits declawing and requires that if the new owner find that scratching is a problem, they return the cat to us rather than declaw.

Our adoption fees are $100 for a kitten (or $175 for two kittens)and $50 for adult cats (over 12 months old), all of whom are spay/neutered, micro-chipped, immunized, treated for fleas and worms and given any required veterinary treatment before adoption. The value of these treatments is several times the adoption fee!
