Quinn is a lovely 2-3 year old red Bloodhound living with her foster family in Virginia. Still slightly underweight at 75 lbs, she eats enthusiastically and enjoys her snacks; taking them gently. She has a soft, shiny coat and loves to be brushed. She has only been in her foster home for a short time, but she has made herself right at home. Quinn gets along well with all of her foster siblings; male and female, large and small (though she's the biggest of them all). She does not live with any cats or small children so it is unknown at this time what her reaction would be. She plays happily in the yard with the other hounds, but she also enjoys quietly chewing on a toy. She prefers to be where her foster mom is, regardless of where the rest of the pack goes. Quinn has only turned on her big Bloodhound voice when she accidentally ends up on the wrong side of the door and her foster mom is on the other side. She has been crated for small amounts of time when left alone and seems to do alright with it (some of her foster friends have been crated along next to her so she isn't alone). She enjoys the comforts of sleeping with her new pack (on the bed, couch, dog bed, any soft surface will do). She has made some happy noises while playing but she has not let loose into full hound-dog song. Quinn is youthful and full of energy but she only exerts herself in small bursts. She moves around the house quietly, carrying herself lightly on her big paws. Quinn learned the doggy-door instantly at her foster home and goes in and out often throughout the day. She is doing really well with her housetraining. Quinn has been a little hesitant getting in and out of vehicles, but once inside she sits still and rides quietly. Quinn is a big, gentle, snuggly hound that enjoys the company of her family and canine friends. For more information please go to our website at
