Hi My name is Lady (a.k.a Ladybug) and I only require one thing, well maybe two, hands to rub my fluffy belly! The rumors are that I’m no joke in the snuggle department. My current relationship status is Netflix, popcorn and sweat pants. However, I do like to exercise, I’m told I walk pretty well on a leash around the neighborhood and hiking. I figure the road to success is always under construction and so am I. I’m lazy and energetic, patient, and full of life despite what’s transpired in my past. My past is a buzzkill but we will go into that later, right now I want to talk to you about my physical attributes. I’m a voluptuous 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier Mix with unforgettable brown eyes. I have bit of white on my muzzle from the drama I endured at a young age, it makes me look older but my foster mom says that it just means they won’t card me when I order a drink.

I prefer regular pedicures as I like to keep my nails short, I don’t mind when humans cut my nails. I am what they call a “short-haired” dog which is great for people with allergies or so I am told. I have luminescent and frankly noteworthy fur if I do say so myself, I credit the Coconut Oil my foster mom uses. As for my pearly whites, my Doctor says I have no tarter probably because I brush my teeth several times a week to keep my breath fresh. You never know who you will meet and I need to stay Hollywood ready. I do have a few scars on my face, those came from me being attacked quite a few times which makes me weary of other dogs, but those scars are only a chapter in my story. As far as my wardrobe, I am dressed to impress on a daily basis with my pants suit and heels. My broad chest and all four paws are a magnificent white. Yes, I woke up like this. Also, I have impeccable manners I am fully potty trained and never destroy anything in the house so I don’t need a crate.

Things that make me smile, no seriously I smile are: licking peoples feet while they are folding laundry, running into people with my head on occasion, kissing, watching you make dinner or clean, putting my face in the fan, looking out the window, getting my tan on by basking in the sun, playing with my toys, getting a bath, receiving a massage, cuddling, lounging on the couch and breaking out my dance moves when I hear my food bag open. My dance moves are quite advanced for my age, recently I was told that I should audition for Dancing With The Stars.

There are two things that define our personalities: The way you manage things when you have nothing and the way you behave when you have everything. I’ve had nothing and no one and remained resilient, loving and loyal. I am looking for the chapter in my life where I will have everything. I want to be lucky enough to find a loving, dedicated and loyal family who would consider me their world. A family I can cuddle, sleep, enjoy, protect and have adventures with. I want the Cinderella story. If you’re interested in giving me my fairytale please contact my foster mom! Her number is (704)-909-9112. Please leave a voicemail if she does not pick up and you can text her at any time. She’s even willing to drive me to another state to find me the perfect home!

Ladybug is not cat or dog tested at this time.

Please do not be offended if declined for a particular dog. We will do everything in our power to find the perfect match for you or refer you to another rescue/shelter. Thank you. **
