Peanut's Story...
Be still my heart and meet our Peanut! She's a five year old baby who is great with other dogs and walks amazing on a leash. Peanut likes car rides, bath time and Kongs. She prefers your lap to the floor and although she knows EVERY single command, she cannot help herself by giving you a hug when she sees you! She passed her SAFER test with flying colors and is ready for her forever home now.
This pup is great with kids and other dogs. Not cat tested. Fully vetted which means: altered, rabies, distemper, bordetella, heart worm test, fecal test, dewormed and microchip.
Adoption fee is $385.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Middlebury American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Middlebury, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Middlebury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middlebury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middlebury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middlebury paves the way for another one to be saved.
