Klugen's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Klugen's Story...
Klugen is a 2-year-old, Male, German Shepherd in need of a new home.

Klugen has no major behavioral issues, he was surrendered to us due to his previous family losing their home and should make a nice addition to families with large breed experience. In general, he can be a little bit wary at times, but is very friendly and definitely has a goofy side. He is active and playful and has yet to raise any red flags, socially, to this point. He is neutered and around 90 pounds, with room to fill out further, so a good sized boy. Oh, and let's not forget that one, cute, floppy ear!

We are looking for adoptees, preferably with German Shepherd experience, who will be committed to his development going forward. We want responsible owners who will put him in good situations and invest time in helping him achieve his potential. Please do not contact us about Klugen if you live in an apartment or condo, have young children, small dogs, or cats. We are open to homes with other well-balanced dogs of decent size, preferably female. Klugen's adoption includes a lifetime training package from Von Dubinhaus Shepherds.

If you think Klugen is the dog for you, please submit an application and we will be in touch shortly!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Klugen, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
