Ricky is a very sweet and full of energy 2 year old Jack Russel and Poodle Mix. He was originally adopted from the local animal shelter as a 2 month old puppy, but then found himself back after he got out from his yard. He was covered in fleas and had a skin condition (hair loss plus skin infection). His owners never came looking.
Because he didn't look perfect, he sat at the shelter for months, wondering why no one wanted to pick him. Well we think he is the Bees knees!
While he is still under treatment for his skin (not contagious) we are taking applications for foster to adopt homes. Meaning, you get to foster him, and all medical is paid by us, until his skin is healed!
He will need a 100% secure yard, as this smart fellow does know how to open gates, but he doesn't climb fences.
Southern California adoption only.
