Reba's Story...
If you are looking for a total sweet heart then Reba is your girl. Reba was found as a stray and when she was brought in she appeared to have eye infections. Upon a vet visit and a second opinion for a specialist she was diagnosed with Golden Retriever Pupillary. Which means, its a genetic benign eye disease that is controlled with eye meds twice a day. This disease doesn't affect her way of life, she is one happy go lucky girl with a pure spirit. Our vet estimates her age to be 7, however this girl has some spunk and doesn't act her age at all. She is great with anyone or thing that crosses her path. She LOVES to play fetch, she know sit, shake and we are working on roll over.

If you are interested in adding Reba to your family, please go to www.heavencanwaitanimalrescue.com and complete an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reba, a Russellville Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
