Pony's Story...
Meet Pony! Pony is about 2 years old, loves cuddles and enjoys time with other dogs. She enjoys other dogs so much that we feel she will thrive best in a home with another dog. She is a very sweet baby and absolutely loves to run. She's a hunting dog mix so enjoys an active lifestyle and her adoptive family will need to work with her on training and exercise to keep her safe and happy. Pony was rescued from a rural pound where she had only days to live. Pony's family must also be willing to adopt her stuffed elephant who has become her best friend in the world. She loves elephant. Pony is also potty and crate trained.

Her adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, and heartworm testing. Please email us at kcpetfinder@hotmail.com to meet Pony.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pony, a Overland Park Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
