Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sheba's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sheba's Story...
Sheba is a 9 month old female Weimaraner/Chocolate Lab mix. She is an owner surrender due to too many pets. She was kept outdoors all of her life and is now in the process of learning indoor manners and potty training but adjusting very quickly! She loves to play with other dogs, as she came from a home with 2 parents and 4 siblings. We are also interested in finding adopters for the other dogs as well. Sheba is very docile and submissive and will stay close to home once bonded. She does not chew on things she shouldn't and is moderate energy. She has not bothered the cats in the foster home and got along fine with smaller children in her previous home. Sheba will be spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheba, a Wichita Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
