Courtesy post - Sprinkles (Spinks) is a 6 yr old female tabby searching for a new home with her brother Thunder. Both kitties are being surrendered by their current owner because they are said to not get along with the dogs in the house. They will do best in a quiet, calm home, or where they can learn to like different dogs. They love to sleep in laps, play with the laser pointer, and the climb the cat tree. Both cats have been handled by children (infant to age 8) and are accustomed to them. Both cats are medically cared for by the Prince Frederick Animal Hospital and the Calvert Well Pet Clinic. The cats can come with their cat tree (needs a little cleaning up and replacing of some of the Sisal rope if you plan to keep it), laser pointer, a new bag of dry cat food (morning feeding) and a new box of wet cat food (evening feeding). We are trying to help the owner find a home for both as soon as possible, given the threat of taking both cats to the shelter where they will undoubtedly be killed. We can separate them to fosters homes as well. If you are interested in Sprinkles and Thunder, please contact us.

About Rescue Angels of Southern Maryland, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Rescue Angels' mission is to change the lives of animals in need by rescuing them from undesirable situations, providing loving homes, and any needed medical care (including mandatory spay and neuter). We also have in place a successful TNR (trap-neuter-return) program to limit the population and euthanasia of unwanted animals. We strive to save one animal at a time and acknowledge that.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We participate in regular adoption days at PetSmart and Petco in Waldorf and LaPlata, MD. Please check our website at for information.

Our Adoption Process...

Our pet adoption process is thorough and friendly, to ensure a lifetime of love and companionship. The adoption process begins when you visit our animals. Your whole family should help decide which animal is best suited for your home. Our volunteers are always on hand to help you choose a pet that is right for you.

Once you have met your pet, you will complete an application and an adoption counselor will review it with you.
