Elmer's Story...
Meet Elmer...what a handsome could you resist that face...he is definitely a charmer and loves the attention! He loves to play with his littermates and chase anything you are throwing...but then he comes right up to you when its time to cuddle...he will make a great addition to any Rescue Angels if you can provide this little one a forever loving home! He has an eye ulcer in his left eye that likely came from a bad eye infection before he came to us. He requires daily eye medication, but his vet says he will be ok! If you're looking to adopt two cats, his brother West is the perfect pair for him. They give each other 'kneading' massages and obviously love one another. Please complete an adoption application and come meet Elmer!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elmer, a Waldorf Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
