Percy's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Percy's Story...
Percy is an approximate 11 year old male neutered Norwegian Forest Cat/maine coon mix. He is comfortable in his foster home now and looking for a permanent home that will be able to give him the time and attention he needs. He is a gentle cat and one that will run up to you to greet you, even with some new people. He has signs of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, but he is doing well with a routine and just needs a clean litter box at all times. He has normal stool now and he is not difficult to care for. He eats well and has a beautiful coat and is at a good healthy weight. He would be best suited in a SAFE indoor/outdoor environment - specifically someone that would make him a catio! :) If you are interested in Percy, please contact Rescue Angels.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Percy, a Waldorf Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
