Rocky & Owen's Story...
Rocky and Owen are two sweet boys looking for their forever homes. They get along really well with the dog in their foster home and would probably be fine in a home with a calmer dog that doesn't pay them too much attention. They are both super playful and go crazy for feather toys and the laser pointer. Rocky purrs so loudly he sounds like a little bi-plane and he starts purring as soon as you touch him. He is such a lap cat and loves just cuddling and being held. Owen is a little more shy. He will cuddle on his own terms. He loves to climb up and lay on his foster mom's feet.

Please apply online and ask our fosters Jesse & Bryan about us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky & Owen, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
