Yoshi's Story...
Yoshi is a rare find - a completely all white cat with brilliant green eyes. With fur as white as fresh fallen snow Yoshi really stands out in a crowd. Yoshi is a laid back boy who gets along well with other cats, likes people and enjoys being pet. He was found as a stray on a road in Nescopeck back in 2011 when he was a kitten. He was adopted as a kitten from ARC in 2011. Fast forward 5 years later and this pure white angel needs help. Due to personal circumstances Yoshi can no longer be cared for by his adopter. He is currently all alone in his home in Danville as we try to find a new home for him to avoid having to bring him back to the shelter. Yoshi just turned 5 years old and remains a loving and friendly companion. He craves attention and gets along with other cats. He is fearful of dogs though. He is approximately 9 pounds so he’s a smaller cat. He is being fed daily by a family member and he is so excited for company when she arrives. Please help Yoshi to find his forever home as time is running out before he will be forced to come to the shelter. Yoshi is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, litter trained and neutered. If you are interested in adopting Yoshi please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoshi, a Bloomsburg American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
