Diesel's Story...
Hi, my name is Diesel, and my foster mom says that I am quite the little gentleman. She tells people about how awesome I am, because I am pretty calm, for a six month old. That is not to say that I don't like to cut loose, and have some fun, but for the most part, I'm pretty easy going. I had a bit of a rough start in life, as I was attacked by another animal, and had bad wounds on my neck, when a really nice lady found me wondering around. I then found my way into Friends of Rescue, and now I'm as good as new. Do you have room in your family for a distinguished little man? I may be just right for you.

I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. I am fostered in Madison Alabama, but am not too fussy about where I end up, as long as I am loved.

To adopt me, please fill out an application at www.forrescue.net/cat-application. It doesn't bind you to anything, it's just where the nice folks at Friends of Rescue like to start the process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diesel, a Nashville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
