Cali Ann's Story...
Hi, my name is CALI ANN, CALI for short. I’m a 2 year old PUREBRED MAINE COON female with CALICO coloring and GORGEOUS green eyes. I was recently surrendered to Posh Pets Rescue when my owner became too sick to care for me. Currently I’m staying in a nice foster home and here is what my foster mom has said about me. “CALI is UTTERLY ADORABLE. She LOVES to be PET. She walks around and PURRS and PURRS and when I reach down to pet her she FLOPS over for more petting. She FAIRS WELL with people and is very ACCEPTING of everyone. She even gets along with other cats. I must admit that Cali was shy when she first came to my house and a bit cautious in her new surroundings, but once she felt COMFORTABLE, a true DELIGHT. So a PATIENT person is a must." If you would like to meet CALI, a meet and greet can be arranged. She is spayed, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cali Ann, a Long Beach Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
