About Devin
Devin DOB 7/7/16 Male Black DSH with faint Tabby Markings
Introducing the Carolina Panthers of AARF!!
Panthers wide receiver, Devin Funchess was selected 2nd in the NFL draft. Our sleek black uniformed, Devin is hoping to be the #1 pick for the AARF adoption draft! He can be seen zigging and zagging across the kitten playing field with Kelvin, Luke and #1 Cheerleader, Carolina! Off the playing field he can be a bit shy but when he gets to know you he will prove to you he is #1 with his skills of rolling and tumbling with his liter and foster mates, with his curiosity of the large GSDs on the other side of the gate and his ability to look into your eyes that say, “Interview me! I can tell you all about my goals for loving and having fun with my forever family”. Devin was born on or about 7/7/16 and is up to date on age appropriate shots. He has also tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you want to schedule an interview with Devin contact his Foster-Coach, Crystal Beck @ 336-253-8001 or crystal.aarf@gmail.com.
You can meet and visit with many of our cats at the AARF House (311 Harvey St, Winston Salem) during our adoption fair hours. Go to www.aarfanimals.org for information about our adoption fair hours and adoption process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Devin, a Winston-Salem Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
