Ray Ray's Story...
Hi, my name is RAY RAY and I am a 6 month old BLACK and WHITE SUPER CUTE male kitten that was recently found on a construction site in Queens. Luckily, I’m in good hands now and my rescuers have commented that I’m VERY SWEET, EXTREMELY SNUGGLY and PLAYFUL. I would be fine in a home where I’m the only cat, if the person who adopts me has time to spend with me. If not, it would be best for me to go to a home that has another cat or kitten so that I have a PLAYMATE and Companion. Plus, I’m OK with dogs after a slow introduction. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ray Ray, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
