Cypress was found on the side of a road in rural Arkansas, patiently waiting for whoever dumped him there to come back for him. What's saddest is that he waited for days right near the then-empty bag of dog food that whoever-it-was dumped with him. We got him off that remote road and to safety. And this is why we do what we do.
Cy has been grateful ever since! Despite his unfortunate beginnings, Cy is a friendly, loving and affectionate dog who has never met a stranger - - canine or human. He defines "happy-go-lucky" and he'll always "point" at the glass that's half full. Cy has been boarding at a doggy day care and has gotten along well with everyone. He's sweet and appreciative and knows how to blend into the pack and make friends -- this boy is a lover, not a fighter. He quickly became a favorite because of his easy-going personality with the staff as well as the other dogs. He's been around toddlers (whose little faces he loves to kiss) and he's great with them -- it's almost like he thinks he's one of them! Cy is about 10 months old, he weighs about 40 pounds with more to grow, and he's a very healthy boy. We have no idea what his true mix is -- Lab/Pointer/Spaniel if we could choose 3! All we know for sure is that Cy will be forever grateful for a home and you'll be grateful for having found a boy this sweet. If signs are pointing to yes for Cy, please visit www.pinkshelter.org for more information about the adoption process or click
