Bobby's Info...

Bobby's Story...
Bobby is a great guy who has a sad story. He had a home and someone to love. Then his owner brought him to our vet and left him there. Never came back. Poor Bobby was understandably confused and upset. His whole world was turned upside down and he had no clue where his person was.

It took some time but Bobby eventually opened up and showed us what a really nice boy he is. He is friendly and likes to get attention. He loves to play and is good with other cats. He is a great cat who is looking for an experienced adopter that can understand he has abandonment issues and may take some time to settle into a new home. Bobby is currently living at our vet's office and deserves to find a forever home with people that will truly love him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bobby, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
