Hogan's Story...
Hogan is a cute, new arrival from an animal shelter where he was running out of time. At first we thought he was mixed with a bit of rottweiler but after a closer look, he just looks like a bigger boned Dobie. Hogan is probably 4 or 5 years old and he has a great, mild energy that could be a great fit for different types of homes. He can be slightly shy at first but he is sweet and affectionate once he warms up a bit. Hogan is good with female dogs and some male dogs but he gets tense when male schallenge or try to control him. He is doing well with crate training and he is pretty quiet and easy going.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hogan, a Fillmore Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fillmore, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fillmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fillmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fillmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fillmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
