She is also going blind. Temperament: Super sweet little girl. Likes to be near a lap constantly and spoiled. She likes to have her space away from the other dogs and would be best in a home as an only dog. She cannot be in a home with large dogs or alpha/aggressive dogs, because she tries to attack any dog that comes near her. Apple also will not be placed in a home with small children. She is a vocal little dog and barks quite a lot. Favorite Activities: Getting belly scratches and playing with your fingers when she is rolled over on her back. Where did she come from: Hoarders home Ambitions: To find the perfect furrever home Additional information:   ADOPTION APPLICATION:   Email to request a printable application.   ------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.---------

About Recycled Poms and Schipperkes

About Our Rescue Group...

We began in 1998, and have continued to rescue purebred dogs previously used as breeders in Puppy Mills, dogs surrendered by their owners, lost and abandoned dogs on death row at local shelters and a few dogs found roaming the streets. We house, feed, rehabilitate, socialize, seek medical attention for, spay or neuter each dog rescued, but mostly, we give them love.

Please join our cause! We can't do it alone.

We are run entirely by volunteers who give of their time to help find these precious pups their forever homes! Please consider joining us in our fight to find "furever homes" for these pups! We can always use volunteers, FOSTER HOMES!!!!, and donations, including quality dog food, healthy treats (like BULLY STICKS!) belly bands for boy dogs, exercise pens, pee pads, collars, leashes, and Dog shampoo

Also, feel free to email us about a prospective pet, and we will put you in touch with their foster home.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!
