Callie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Callie's Story...
Callie came to us from a local high kill shelter after witnesses saw her being tossed out of a window of a truck. She was in horrendous shape and had mange that had been left untreated for some time with a severe secondary skin infection. She was very skinny and she had given up. Thankfully Callie responded to the medical care she received and she has blossomed into one of the most amazing dogs. We believe she is a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Vizsla Mix and she is estimated to be about 6 months old. She is crate and house trained. She is a very active dog and will need a family that is active. She does well with other dogs and cats and does well with kids. She is amazingly smart and very eager to learn. Callie fought a very hard battle but she won the battle and she is ready to find a family to call her own. Callie is up to date on all vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, current on heartworm prevention and spayed. Her adoption fee is $250.00. If you are interested in Callie please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts@yahoo.com and fill out our adoption application. Vet reference checks and home visits are part of our adoption process as well.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Arden Catahoula Leopard Dog/Vizsla puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Vizsla for sale in Arden, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Vizsla puppy from a breeder in Arden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Vizsla breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Vizsla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arden paves the way for another one to be saved.
