So we started this story with two sisters, who were just babies, that were dumped at the local shelter by their "owners" and they didn't look back.  The "Twins" as we called them, were to be put to sleep the next day!!

Thanks to a generous benefactor, we were able to rescue them!  We named them Hope and Faith.  Hope was a little more quiet, a little more shy.  Faith was the more independent of the two, the more, "O.K. world, let's see what you're made of"!  Faith loves her toys.  Who knows if she even had any in her former life?

Hope found a foster, and as the story goes, the foster fell in love with her and Hope became our second "foster failure".

Faith is still waiting for her foster, for her family.  Won't you please consider making this beautiful young lady a part of your family?  She's just over a year old, weighs less than 40 lbs. and if fully vaccinated and spayed.  Hope got her lucky day, help Faith get hers.

About Houston Homeless Pet Project

About Our Rescue Group...

Houston Homeless Pet Project ("HHPP")is a core group of dedicated dog rescue volunteers who, between us, have over 50 years of experience in rescue in the Houston metro area. We are the rescue of last resort for those good Samaritans who find homeless dogs and are just trying to help. We are also the rescue of last resort for those hopeless animals that find themselves out of time at local shelters.

We provide rescue care, rehabilitative services, foster care and adoption placement to abandoned and stray dogs in the Houston metro area.

HHPP is an all-volunteer, foster based rescue. We don't have a shelter and rely on foster homes to provide our rescues with warm, loving home environments until they can adopted by permanent families.
