* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, for an application. * We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. * We do not ship our dogs for any reason. * Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy. * If it is on a weekend of our adoptions, follow us on @DPSRescue on Twitter to get real time updates on our adoptions. We will also post at the end of the evening the names of those dogs who have been adopted:

This kitten will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, October 22nd from 1-4pm and Sunday, October 23rd from 12-3pm or until adopted. However, we do meet with those who submit an application and are approved just prior to the event (by invitation only) and they are given the first opportunity to adopt. If you are interested in one of our cats or dogs, we recommend filling out an application prior to the event to be considered. Applications submitted within 24 hours of the event may not necessarily be reviewed.

Our Halloween litter was rescued from the shelter at four weeks old.  We went to pull a few dogs and were told that if we didn't take them, they would be put down that night, so what could we do?!  Thank goodness we rescued these babies, because they are absolutely adorable, happy, playful and cuddly little kittens who bring joy to their foster mom every day.  They are now 8 weeks old. All five of them love to play, with stuffed mice, shoelaces, their foster mom's hair... and anything else they can get their little paws on!  When it's time for bed or a nap, they love to cuddle up with each other on the blanket in their crate.  They are good little eaters and getting bigger every day!

Midnight probably should have been named Mischief-- this boy is the ultimate escape artist.  Every time the door to their room opens, Midnight darts out at full speed-- he's just dying to explore the rest of the house!  He's quite the little climber and jumper too.

Candy Corn is a mama's boy-- as soon as his foster mom comes into the room, he wants to climb into her lap.  He loves to cuddle and purr loudly... until one of his siblings come over and bats at his tail, and then he's ready to play again!

Pumpkin is the independent type.  When his siblings are all in a pile, he takes advantage of the time to go off and explore on his own.  Once you get your hands on him, though, he's just as happy to curl up on your lap.

Boo is a little sweetie pie.  She likes to try to climb up her foster mom to sit on her shoulders and groom her.  She's fascinated with hair!  And like all her siblings, she loves to play.

Spooky alternates between cuddling up in her foster mom's lap and being ready to play-play-play! She has a super-expressive and adorable face.

Adoption Fee: $150. Our kittens are spayed/neutered, shots current, dewormed, frontline for fleas and ticks, microchipped and FELV/AIDS negative.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.

About Doggie Protective Services-Corona

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal organization that has been in existence for the past 10 years. We do adoptions in No. CA, So. CA, AZ and Las Vegas. We began to take dogs from So. CA to other areas as our economy has deteriorated and yet our shelters are imploding with owner surrenders and stray dogs. We had to look outside our area as well as continue to diligently find fabulous homes within So. Ca.

We are a dedicated group of folks who are passionate about animals and committed to reducing the euthanasia rate in our local shelter. We can not save the world and we will not attempt to do so. We will simply take responsibility for those who cross our path. We pledge to make every effort to find as many FABULOUS homes as possible for our animals. We will not agree to place an animal if we do not believe it is the best match. Our dogs are our priority but we also believe that in order to place animals, the humans also have to be respected and we have to build relationships with them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do adoptions by appointment only once we have an approved application and an approved interview.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a 4 page application, an interview regarding home, people in the home, dog and whether the dog is a match, a meet and greet with family and dog and then a legally binding contract.
