Jilly has to wonder why she's still waiting for a home when all her littermates have been adopted. This perfect lovebug is as shiny, elegant, and stunning as the most perfect little black silk dress! She loves to be scooped up and snuggled and settles right into your arms, purring and sharing little nose boops! She romps happily with other kittens and bigger cats and seems to enjoy everyone she meets. She's a champion at "making biscuits", which is accompanied by her beautiful purr! A silken coat with a little extra length makes her downy soft, perfect for such a cuddlebug! Beautiful green-gold eyes are the perfect complement to her velvety beauty. Precious Jilly hopes she'll soon be the lovely and very loving new jewel in a great forever home? How about yours?

About The Cat House on the Kings - Sanctuary

About Our Shelter...

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

Our Adoption Process...

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.
