Meet Hank! After almost dying from starvation in Mexico, Hank found himself in the care of our rescue. The resilience behind Hank and his willingness to please and love is just amazing. Hank will be placed in a home with giant breed experience and no young children. We love Hank and we know that after spending almost two months in training he is ready to find he forever home. Hank suffers from seizures and needs daily medication, potential adopter will need to keep in on meds to avoid seizures.
OUR MISSION ScratchMyBelly.org was founded to support rescues that save animals from Southern California high kill shelter and Mexico street animals.
Our goal is to help raise funds to rehabilitate the neglected, injured and sick. In addition, we will also help perfectly healthy animals in a partnership with other rescues, in order to find them forever homes.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We have adoption events and most of our pets are presented in individual meet and greets to promote a calm environment.
Our Adoption Process...
We require an adoption application and home check for our animals to ensure their safety. Most animals are adopted for a $250 fee that includes spay/neuter, vaccines and microchip. For breeds like chis and pits we have a reduced fee to help promote the adoption of pet in the shelter overpopulation.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
