Bruce here, superhero extraordinaire! I am a dynamite fur ball who does acrobats and keeps you laughing! Ready to save you with a flick of my tail, why don't you come and adopt me? Because you know how hard it is to save the planet when you're stuck in a shelter! If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!
The Humane Society of Adams County is open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays 11AM-3PM and by appointment.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
Thank You! Your message has been sent to Humane Society of Adams County.
You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
