Ember's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Ember's Story...
All miss Ember wants to do is snuggle and make biscuits! This precious girl is approximately five months old. She's as sweet as they come! Ember came to us with two other kittens who were found at a local fire station. They have spent the last few weeks getting lots of TLC. Now, they're looking for their new homes! Ember is fantastic with other cats and certainly wouldn't mind having a feline friend. With her laid-back personality, she would fit in just about anywhere!

Ember's adoption fee is $80. She has been spayed, received three sets of kitten vaccinations and tested FIV/FeLV negative. She's also litter-box trained and microchipped too! Starting October 7th, Ember and her brother, Blaze, will be settled in at our PetSmart adoption center. Just stop by 7941 Winchester Road to meet them soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ember, a Germantown Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
