Apollo's Story...
Born September 2015. I’m a highly social, people-oriented cat that is content just having your companionship. Simply sitting near you on a cat tower is enough to make me happy. When you come home I’ll be there to greet you with chirpy meows and loud purring! I tend to prefer receiving affection in moderation-a few chin scratches here, a few head rubs there-rather than in one long petting session. I even enjoy brief cuddles and lap time throughout the day! I love treats and will come running when I hear the bag open! Daily playtime would be very beneficial, so I can put my high energy to use! This should ease my tendency to be over-stimulated when petted for an extended time, making everyone happier. My ideal home is a calm single cat household with lots of treats, playtime, and an understanding, loving owner.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apollo, a San Leon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Leon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Leon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Leon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Leon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Leon paves the way for another one to be saved.
