I am in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with kids.
Nugget is a 2 year old Mustang Pony who came to us at the age of 6 months. Her mother was emaciated and could not give her the nutrition she needed to thrive. She is very friendly and though she has not begun training under saddle, she has had a kids saddle on her and has had kids on her while bare back for short moments. She is very easy to handle. Loves people and her mother is a wonderful mount now that she is healthy and trained for riding...I believe Nugget is going to be a lot like her mother.
I started this rescue because of the obvious need in the community that I live in. We are committed to the needs of our animals first and foremost. Educating the community runs a close second to this.

Come Meet Our Pets...
You may contact us (preferably via email) to make an appointment to meet your new potential pet at any time. We are always looking for new venues to get our animals shown so please check the website often for scheduled events either in the community or at our rescue!
Our Adoption Process...
We require an adoption application, an inspection of the potential new home. This application is extensive and will ask for your veterinarians name among other information. There is no fee for this application. Our contract states that the adopted animal may not be sold or given away under any circumstances and will be returned to D-S Rescue if for any reason the animal cannot be kept. The adoption fees vary depending on the animal adopted.
Thank You! Your message has been sent to D-S Rescue.
You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
