Pretty Girl aka Canela is an 8 year old female pit bull mix. She has been neutered . She was found abandoned tied to a fire hydrant. She has made herself at home and spends her days watching Novelas and eating snacks. She loves going for walks and being talked to. She is working on her social skills with other dogs. Not sure how she does with cats . The trainer says she just needs training to teach her new habits. We've been working on her manners. She is finished with her heartworm treatment! She will be an excellent companion for someone and a great addition to your family. Look at that smile: isn't she just the Prettiest Girl?!?!
We are a foster/volunteer based 501c3 nonprofit dog rescue in Dallas, Texas. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pit bull type dogs in shelters and on the streets through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy.
Our goal is to educate the public about a breed that often falls victim to breed specific legislation, discrimination, and cruelty and promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, and training resources.
