Meet Sandee

Sandee is a wire haired dachshund/cairn terrier mix, approximately 1year 7months(November2016) & approximately 24.6lbs. Sandee has a sweet personality/goofy but she is shy, so she will need someone who’s willing to take time to work with her. She is house trained/crate trained, does well on walks, she loves belly rubs/having her butt scratch. Sandee would do best in a home with at least one other dog, she feels most at easy/safe with one around. Sandee is microchipped spayed & up to date on age appropriate shots. Please consider opening your heart & home to Sandee.

If you would like more information on this dog please contact APAWS at info@apawspets.org.

About Animal Protection and Welfare Society

About Our Rescue Group...

A.P.A.W.S. (Animal Protection And Welfare Society) is an all volunteer group of people who are dedicated to ensuring that all pet animals in and around the South Louisiana area live in homes which provide for all of the animal's physical and emotional needs (including daily maintenance, medical care and nurturing) for the animal's lifetime.

Some volunteers provide food, shelter and love in their homes to cats and dogs who have been injured, abandoned or thrown away. Others help by transporting the animals to veterinarian appointments, volunteering on Adoption Days, participating in fund raising activities, mailings, publicity efforts and public education. Because we receive no external funding, we rely on fund raising efforts and donations to fund our efforts.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We will have cats, dogs, puppies and kittens available for adoption
at PetSmart off of Siegen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA. Every SATURDAY from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Our Adoption Process...

An application for adoption is required. Once the application is approved a legally binding contract is signed and an adoption fee is paid.
