found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, good with dogs, and good with cats.
We spied this little cutie pie at the shelter, shaking in the back of her kennel and too afraid to come toward us. Once we had Figgy safely in a foster home, we found her to be a shy, sweet girl, who is just longing to trust someone and be loved.
Figgy is a 3 year old, 9 pound, Shih-Tzu mix who is sweet as can be. She may take a few minutes to warm up to new people but a pocket full of tasty treats sure helps when making friends. Figgy gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. She tends to take a submissive roll, but is not fearful of other dogs. Figgy has not had much experience walking on leash so we are still working on building confidence when exploring the surroundings outside the comfort of her yard. She is on the thin side but is a great eater and we expect her to be a healthy 9.5-10 pounds very shortly. Figgy is used to sleeping in a crate in the bedroom with her human companions but would likely much rather sleep in bed with them. She is also potty trained in her foster home and should have an easy time acclimating to her new home.
Our adoption fee for Figgy is $300, and includes her spay, microchip, vaccines, professional grooming, treatment for fleas and worms, and best of all, lots of love and socialization in her foster home.
