Age: 2 years
Weight: 7 lbs
Personality: Affectionate lap kitty!
Observations with Dogs: She immediately liked the big dog in her foster home and greets the pup with happy head bonks.
Observations with Cats: Lorelai gets along with cats. She is currently fostered with a kitten and puts up with a lot of pouncing, occasionally putting the kitten in his place.
Observations with Kids: We haven't observed her with kids but she's so steady and calm that we think she'd be great.
House Training Progress: Good litterbox manners
Location: Foster home
Rescued From: Roane County, WV
Additional Information: Lorelai is a gorgeous Siamese mix with a marble coat, striking blue eyes and a raccoon tail. She is so affectionate and loves to lay across her foster mom's lap or curl up on her chest. Lorelai even gives hugs, gently reaching her paws up on either side of a person's neck and giving sweet nose kisses. She would love to lounge in a window when her person's lap is occupied. This easygoing kitty is happy to bat around a toy and doesn't scratch anything inappropriately. Lorelai is one in a million!
*Lorelai was sponsored by Ashley and Jim in celebration of their wedding.

City Dogs Rescue is a foster based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. We focus on local adoptions in DC and the metro area of Maryland and Virginia. CDR has a thorough adoption process in order to find the best possible fit for each of our animals (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Our cat adoption fee is $150 unless noted. Prior to arrival, all of our cats are spayed/neutered (unless specified) and given shots for Rabies, FVRCP, and Feline leukemia. They are microchipped and tested for FIV and FeLV. They are dewormed at least twice and given a health check by the vet.
