Bow's Story...
Button and Bow are 5 month old females. Both have been tested, vaccinated and spayed. They are both brown tabby's with white feet with Button being a little larger than Bow. They were both found in a volunteer's friends neighborhood. Apparently when the neighbors felt as though the kittens were old enough they kicked them outside to fend for themselves. Both are very cuddly and like to play together. Button is a little more affectionate, likes to be picked up and snuggled and is a talker. Bow, the smaller one, is more rambunctious and like to tackle and knock over her sister - lol. Both kittens are head-bonkers and purrers. They enjoy playing with pipe cleaners and the horizontal, cardboard scratching pads. Button and Bow would like to be adopted together. Adoption Fee $95 each. Button and Bow are currently at a foster home. Please call to make an appointment to meet them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bow, a Garland Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Garland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Garland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garland paves the way for another one to be saved.
